NEWSFLASH - UPDATE! The nest holes are unblocked 🎉

 

This evening (24 April), Network Rail drilled out the mortar, unblocking the swift nesting holes on the Chapel Milton Viaduct. We are absolutely thrilled, and so grateful to everyone who helped get us to this happy outcome. Thank you thank you thank you.

In a matter of days, six little birds will come back to their nest sites, and will have absolutely no idea that they nearly lost their summer homes, nor that they sparked a high profile, national campaign.

 And that's exactly how it should be.
